A Lead Capture page or Squeeze page is an
essential tool for building a list of buyers. A squeeze page is a single web page
that is used to capture the visitors contact information,
especially the email address, for follow-up marketing. Internet marketers have discovered that convincing
people to join or opt-in to an email list gives the marketer the
opportunity to send those people multiple sales messages over time, develop
relationships, and even cross-sell other related products and
services. Various advertising methods
can be used to get visitors or Traffic to a squeeze page.
Squeeze pages should
NOT have any exit hyperlinks because the visitor may click on a
hyperlink and leave the page before they have given their contact
information. The squeeze page should cause the visitor to want
more information about a particular product or service so that
they will make the decision to opt-in to an email list - in
exchange for the additional information. An incentive such as a free
ebook can be given to increase opt-in rates. It is important that
the incentive be related to the product or service that the

Squeeze pages are often used in conjunction with an autoresponder to begin delivering information as soon as the visitor
has joined the email list. Once the visitor has joined the email
list they become a prospect for the product or service that is
being sold. The autoresponder may be used to send a series of follow-up emails
that sell the prospect on a particular product or service and also
to cross-sell other related products and services. Once the
prospect has made a purchase they become a BUYER or Customer. A
satisfied customer is likely to buy from you again. Repeat Buyers

A squeeze page
should contain a header graphic, content, and the lead capture
form. The header graphic should be attractive and related to the
topic of the squeeze page. The lead capture form should contain at
least 2 fields: name and email address. The name can be 2 fields:
first and last name. You may also want to capture other contact
information such as phone number, best time to call, time zone,
fax number, mailing address, etc. but you should not require
anything but first name and email address. If you require more
contact information then you will lose subscribers since many
people will not want to disclose more information about
themselves. You can request
additional contact information later after you have built a
trusting relationship with your prospect.
You can build your
own squeeze pages or you can buy them. If you don't know how to
build a squeeze page and you are in a hurry then buying a squeeze
page is the best solution. Eventually, you will want to learn how to
build your own squeeze pages. Building squeeze pages is easy once
you learn how. The best way to learn is by watching a video
tutorial. You can follow along with the video and learn
step-by-step. Pause the video after each step and perform the action
that you have just seen. With practice you will be an expert in no
time.
In order to build
your own squeeze pages you will need 2 software applications: an html
editor and a graphics editor. The 2 most popular html editors are
Microsoft FrontPage and Adobe Dreamweaver. The most popular graphics
editor is Adobe Photoshop. Learning how to use a software application can be very
time consuming and frustrating. You have heard the saying,
"time is money". If you are like me, your time is very
important to you and you don't want to spend a lot of time
learning how to use software applications. It is so much easier to

can learn how to do some things that you may never figure out how
to do on your own. I have found that it is worth the money

GIMP can also be used to create basic animated images in GIF format. It is often used as a replacement for Adobe Photoshop, the most widely used bitmap editor in the commercial printing and graphics industries. The current version of GIMP works with numerous operating systems, including most Unix variants, Mac OS X among them, as well as Microsoft Windows.
