Fax Flyer
Tips
1) Make your flyer easy to read!
Most people will not try to read your flyer if they have to strain
their eyes. Don't use different fonts on the same flyer and don't
use fonts that are not crystal clear. Use large font sizes. Bigger
is better! Using a small font size may be ok for people who receive
their faxes on their computer because they can magnify the fax.
Larger fonts cause fewer transmission errors. People receive faxes
on computers as well as fax machines and they all display faxes
differently. Computers use different kinds of modems and software.
Fax machines use different kinds of toner and some machines need
cleaning. Use lots of white space! Also use 1 inch margins all
around so that none of your words will get cut off.
2) Avoid graphics! Graphics
usually decrease the response rate for several reasons. The words
you use to describe the benefits of your opportunity are much more
important than using graphics so make the best use of all available
space. Graphics cause the flyer to take longer to transmit which
makes the fax more costly to send and it ties-up the recipient's
phone line for a longer period of time. Graphics use a lot of toner
which costs the recipient more money and often that makes them mad.
Avoid doing anything to your flyer that uses more toner! Oftentimes
graphics make your flyer look more like a money game than a serious
income opportunity.
3) Don't try to tell
everything about your opportunity or try to close the sale. The
purpose of the fax flyer is to generate leads! Just give the
highlights of your opportunity. Give just enough information to
generate responses. Those who respond can get all the details later.
4) Don't mention the cost of
your income opportunity! People can learn how much it costs after
they learn about all of the benefits of your program. Everything
about a program cannot usually be explained on a 1 page flyer.
5) Give people as many
options to get more information as possible. Give them the option of
faxing you back for more info or calling you or visiting your
website or emailing your autoresponder. Don't just give them a
website to visit because they may not have internet access.
Obviously, if the website is not very good then don't send them
there!
6) Don't use the same flyer
that everyone else is using! If the company supplies the flyer then
you can assume that the flyer has been over-faxed unless the program
is only a couple of weeks old. As I have stated before, there are
not that many fax numbers of people who are interested in looking at
income opportunities. Just because I have not faxed your flyer to
all of my numbers does not mean that someone else has not faxed it
to most of them. Since you are going to spend at least 100 for a fax
blast, you should be willing to spend $40 to have a new flyer
created if you can't create your own flyer.
Fax Blasting is great for new
programs but if the program has been around awhile then it has
probably been over-faxed. Therefore, you should use another form of
promotion such as an E-Blast. People that respond to an e-blast
expect to receive more information by email. The best way for them
to get more information about your opportunity is to visit a
website. If the program that you are promoting does not have a
website but you have a document that provides additional information
then I can convert the document to a PDF document and put it on this
website. Click HERE
to see an example. If you want me to do that for you then order an
E-Blast and a PDF-on-Demand.
7) Don't send your prospects
to a company fax-on-demand or website to get more information unless
you send them there after they have responded to you. It is
important for you to know how many responses that your fax blast
generated and you need your prospects contact information so that
you can follow-up with them. If they go directly to a company FOD or
website, you will not know how many responses your fax blast
generated. You will only know who signed up for your program.
If your flyer generates 10 - 20
responses per thousand then the fax blast has accomplished what it
was supposed to do. If people are not joining your opportunity then
the problem is either with your opportunity or the way it was
presented to them after they requested more information. Some income
opportunities are only an opportunity to lose money and most people
are not stupid enough or naive enough to join them.
